Corban Baxter, a foundation member of the Sydney Roosters NRLW side, will retire from professional rugby league at the conclusion of the 2026 season.

The 32-year-old fullback has spent her entire NRLW career with the Roosters, retiring as a one-club player after joining for the club's inaugural season.

Baxter's defining moment came in 2021, when she became the first captain in Roosters NRLW history to lift a premiership trophy.

Baxter cited recovery from an ACL rupture and family commitments as reasons for her retirement.

Baxter announced her retirement alongside teammate Millie Elliott in September 2026. The announcement came after the Roosters finished the 2026 regular season as undefeated minor premiers with an 11-0 home and away record.

Throughout her career, Baxter represented New South Wales, the Australian Jillaroos and the Māori All Stars.
